To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers for His Guidance

Let us pray for for the guidance of our Lord. Heavenly Father, You are the only One who knows all things and can do all things. We lift up our hearts to You so that You might lead us through the trials and tribulations with which evil torments us and offends You. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength by which to turn away all evil.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for those You send to assist us in the fight for the salvation of our souls.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in the ways we may encourage one another to all goodness, righteousness, and justice.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One You sent to reveal to us all the blessings of Your Holy Word.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us see how we may turn away from that which only yields the death of our soul.

Dear Lord, we pray You will hear our cry against the ravages of temptation and evil.

Dear Lord, we pray You will protect us from all the disruptions, deceptions, and designs of the evil one.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall hear the light, silent sound of the Lord within our hearts. Heavenly Father, the evil one sows confusion and temptation to seduce us away from You and to ways which offend You. We pray You will fill us with Your wisdom so we may turn from the ways of darkness and instead, turn to help accomplish Your will. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
