To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers God Will Prepare Us for the Day

Let us pray God will prepare us for the day of the return of His Son. Heavenly Father, because of Your love for the children of Your creation, You sent Your only begotten Son to teach the people so they may prepare for the day He will come to gather in those who believe in Him. We pray You will help us prepare our hearts for the moment we are called to stand before Your Son. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide every heart to share the blessings of peace.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the wisdom of Your holy Word.

Dear Lord, we pray You will free us from the temptations to sin.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength by which we may turn away from all which displeases You.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in sorrow for all the ways we have offended You.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the wisdom which You teach.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us the wisdom, courage, strength, and understanding by which we may live according to Your ways.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall prepare ourselves for the day our Lord returns to gather in the faithful. Heavenly Father, we face so many distractions as we travel the journey of our days. We pray You will help us prepare our hearts and help us to remain alert for the day You send Your Holy Son to gather in the faithful to Your kingdom. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
