To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Receive His Light

Let us pray we may be guided to His Light. Heavenly Father, we struggle to make sense of the world which surrounds us and the darkness which pursues us. We pray You will guide us and help us to experience the blessings of the Light You sent as a beacon to every soul. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the Light You send for the blessings of souls.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us see the ways we may leave the coldness of the dark so we may receive the warmth of Your eternal Light.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us away from the divisions which tear at our hearts.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us see Your Holy Truth.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us see through the wolves in the clothing of sheep.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for those You send to bring us to Your Light.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for all the blessings Your bring and the many wonderful ways You work within our lives.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall be guided by His love. Heavenly Father, we pray that as we work to address the issues of our day, You will guide us in the ways we may approach one another with humility, civility, dignity, and respect so we may better work together to accomplish what is right and just. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
