Simple Prayers of Prayer Soldier â€“ Vol 12 (Wisdom)

Prayer-Soldier

Many blessings to all,

God has granted each of us gifts, but one of the most important of these we should seek is wisdom. As we pass the Word of God to each generation, we must seek to remain true to what God initially inspired to those who wrote the collection of works we recognize today as the Bible. Foolishness causes us to impose our own interpretation or that of false prophets, while wisdom helps us to see what God truly intends us to understand.

We must pray for wisdom, not just for the benefit of our understanding, but so that we may pass to our children and so that they may pass to their children the wonders of the Lord. We must pray for wisdom so that we may see through false prophets and so that we ourselves become lights and beacons to the truth. Through study and prayer we are able to discern the inspiration of God. We must read the Word to know it, we must pray for the guidance of God to understand it.

Through simple prayers throughout the day, we find we spend more of our time with our Lord. Through simple prayer, we may soon find ourselves talking more and more with God. As our relationship with God grows, we soon begin to see the world in a different way. Prayers may not always be answered as we expect or when we expect, but prayers are always answered. Will you pray these simple prayers with me?

A simple prayer: Dear Lord, grant parents the wisdom to help their children to understand the true meaning, grace, mercy, peace, love and salvation of Your Word.

A simple prayer: Dear Lord, guide the faithful to remain close to their children and so that no child is lead astray.

A simple prayer: Dear Lord, we pray for Your strength and wisdom to stand up to do what is right.

A simple prayer: Dear Lord, we thank You for the many blessings You give though we often fail to understand the full measure of Your grace.

A simple prayer: Dear Lord, You have granted us free will. Please grant us the wisdom and strength to exercise it responsibly.

A simple prayer: Dear Lord, bless the people of the land and give them wisdom and strength to fight the good fight for You, freedom and justice.

A simple prayer: Dear Lord, we pray that you give wisdom and strength to your faithful so that they encourage a responsible government.
