To all who see these words, greetings;

Prayers We May Heed the Cry In the Desert

Let us pray that we shall hear the cry so that we may receive the Lord. Heavenly Father, You sent John the Baptist to herald the coming of Your Son so that all who hear and all who heed might know of the coming of their salvation. We pray every ear may hear the good news and every heart may receive the blessings of Your Son. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for Your mercy.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the day You will gather us together in Your kingdom.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the blessings of Your Son who guides us in the blessings of Your Word.

Dear Lord, we pray that we will grow in wisdom and understanding so we may not be misled by the temptations of the world.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the heralding of the prophets and all who share the blessings of Your great news.

Dear Lord, we pray that You guide us in how we may turn from sin and make straight our paths.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for Your great glory.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we are guided to see beyond the despair and hopelessness within the world. Heavenly Father, through Your Son, the blessings of Your Word are revealed; a Word of mercy, forgiveness, charity, faith, hope and love. We pray that You guide us through all our trials and all our tribulations to the day we may all gather and rejoice within Your great kingdom. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
