To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Receive the Nourishment of the Vine

Let us pray that we may receive the nourishment from which we may produce the good fruit pleasing to the Lord. Heavenly Father, so we may be nourished, You sent us the Vine of Your Word. Help us to see the many ways we may grow from its nourishment so we may bear the sweet fruit of love. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift our hearts up in sorrow for the times we have acted in opposition to Your will.

Dear Lord, we humbly ask for your forgiveness for the ways we have offended You.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us turn the blessings of our faith into actions of goodness.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise to the One You sent as the Vine to nourish us.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to see how we may share in the nourishment of the Vine.

Dear Lord, we pray You will nourish us through the blessings of Your Word.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to produce the good fruit which is pleasing to You.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, that we shall receive the nourishment of the Vine of salvation. Heavenly Father, to often, the fruit which we produce is tasteless, bitter, or sour. We pray You will guide us in how we may produce the sweet fruit which is pleasing to You and which yields blessings to all who receive it. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
