To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers The Holy Spirit Will Guide Our Love

Let us pray the Holy Spirit will guide us in the ways of love. Heavenly Father, Your only begotten Son told us that all will know we are followers of Him by the love which we share. We pray You will grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength by which we may help others hear and live by the blessings of the Gospel and the love to which it calls us. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in the ways we may share the blessings of Your Holy Word.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable Your faithful to join together so they may encourage the world to receive the blessings of Your great mercy and love.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength by which we may share the blessings of the love to which You call us.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable us to reason with those who stand against us so we might open their hearts to You.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the great glory of Your mercy, forgiveness, and love.

Dear Lord, we pray You will raise up for us leaders and good Shepherds who will do what is right and just and lead us in all which is right and just so that hearts may turn to You and Your will may be done.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable us to help accomplish Your will; the will of love.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will remember the love to which we are called. Heavenly Father, as we face trials and persecution, we are tempted to respond with vitriol and retribution. Through our emotions, we become weak. We pray, dear Lord, that You will help us reject the temptations of hate so we may respond as the Holy Spirit leads us to respond in both word and deed. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
