To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers In Thanks For His Holy Church

Let us pray in thanks for His holy church. Heavenly Father, Your Holy Son told Peter that He would build a church against which the gates of Hades would not prevail. We pray that all might receive the blessings of the Holy Spirit to lead them to the one true church, which Jesus established, through which all may receive the fullness of Your blessings. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us the strength and wisdom by which we may fulfill the responsibilities to which You call us.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide the generations to those who teach Your Holy Word with the fullness of truth.

Dear Lord, we pray many will hear Your call to religious vocation so that many are the hands to tend to the needs of Your holy church.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us understand the blessings of Your wisdom.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the blessings of Your love.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant the blessing of understanding and wisdom to those who study Your holy Word.

Dear Lord, we pray You will strengthen and protect all who are within Your holy church.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, that we will be blessed to know the fullness of faith in our Lord. Heavenly Father, the evil one endeavors to attack and tear at Your church from within and without, but Your only begotten Son promised that the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against the church He established upon Peter. We pray You will grant the faithful the wisdom and strength by which they may fight the temptations of all evil so they may live and rejoice in the blessings and fullness of faith. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
