To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers In Thanks For The Light of the World

Let us pray in thanks for the child sent for our salvation. Heavenly Father, it was by the light of the star that the magi were guided to the place of the birth of our Savior. We pray You will help us see the Light by which You seek to guide us, so all may rejoice and share in the blessings You give. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we look to the day where there shall be no sorrow or tears.

Dear Lord, we pray for the day where You will gather in the children of Your creation.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the Light You sent to guide our way to You.

Dear Lord, Your wisdom is beyond our comprehension. We pray You will help us learn so we may share in the eternity of Your kingdom.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the prophesies fulfilled through Your only begotten Son.

Dear Lord, we rejoice as we receive the blessings of Your great glory.

Dear Lord, we humbly thank You for the gift of Your only begotten Son, whom You sent to be the Light of the world.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will see and follow the Light You sent for the blessings of the world. Heavenly Father, You lit the star which guided the magi to Your only begotten Son. We can only imagine their joy as they found and worshiped the child You sent for the ransom of many. We pray You will help us discover all the blessings which You made ours through the Word made flesh. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
