To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We Are Guided by the Spirit of Wisdom and Truth

Let us pray we are guided with all wisdom and to all truth. Heavenly Father, the evil one tempts us with deceptions and in our arrogance, we also deceive ourselves to believe good as evil and evil as good. Blinded by the ways of the world, we fail to see the truth of heaven. We pray, dear Lord, that You will deliver us from all the disruptions, deceptions, and designs of the evil one; and that You will grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength by which we may turn away from our weaknesses so we may receive the blessings of Your eternal embrace. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the blessings of Your wisdom.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to discover all the blessings of Your Holy Word.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable parents to teach their children the wisdom of Your Word.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to see through those who deceive and guide us to follow the good shepherds you send to help us hear Your voice.

Dear Lord, we pray You will raise up for us leaders who will do what is right and just and who will lead the people in all which is right and just so that hearts may be opened to You and Your will may be done.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks for the mercy You offer to the contrite heart which comes to receive the blessings of Your wisdom and love.

Dear Lord, we pray You fill our hearts with Your wisdom so we may encourage one another away from our weaknesses so we may share the blessings You have always intended for all the children of Your creation; the blessings of love.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall be guided by the Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father, Your Holy Son told us He would not leave us orphans, but would send us a new Advocate, One who would remind us of all which Jesus taught and who will guide us in all truth. Though we are not worthy, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise that You will not abandon us. We pray for the Holy Spirit to fill us so we all may share the wisdom of Your great mercy and love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
