To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Work Together With Humbleness

Let us pray for the blessing of humility. Heavenly Father, we are tempted by what the world gives honor, when we should, instead, look to what You ask of us. We pray You will help us to see the blessings of humility and fill us with the wisdom, courage, and strength by which we may humbly approach one another so that not our will, but Your will shall be done. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to see the freedom which humility enables.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to see the talents You have placed within us and the purpose to which You desire they shall be put so that Your will may be done.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise that You sent Your only begotten Son so that through Him, we shall be brought to You and the blessings of Your great love and mercy for us all.

Dear Lord, we pray the Holy Spirit will guide us in our choices and actions so we may help accomplish what is right and just and share the blessings of Your holy truth.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide our hearts in the ways we may build blessings within our communities through humble ministry.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable us to protect the innocence of our children.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in the ways we may enable and encourage those who surround us to share the blessings of Your ways.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall learn the value of humility. Heavenly Father, the challenges of the world are often rooted in temptations of positions and power. We pray You will guide us so that we may learn the value of approaching one another with humility, civility, dignity, and respect so that we may all better work together to help accomplish what is right and just. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
