To all who see these words, greetings;

Prayers for the Protection of His Shepherds

Let us pray for the shepherds He sends forth to tend His flock. Heavenly Father, You sent Your Son to prepare the shepherds who You called to tend to the generations. We pray that they may be granted the wisdom, strength and courage to fulfill the mission for which You have called them to and ordained them. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray for protection of the shepherds You have ordained and sent forth to bring us the blessings of Your Word.

Dear Lord, we pray that we are protected from false shepherds so we are not led astray from Your pasture.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the Word You have sent to the children of Your creation, both near and far.

Dear Lord, we pray that we may forever receive the blessing of Your love and peace.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for Your compassion for our souls.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise that You sent forth Your apostles and Your disciples to establish the glory of Your church.

Dear Lord, we pray that all You call to become shepherds will respond to tend to Your flock with the blessings of faith, charity and hope.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we are guided in how we may assist the shepherds of His flock. Heavenly Father, we pray in thanks for those You have sent forth so we may learn the blessings of Your Word and receive the food and drink of eternal life. As we learn, guide us in how we may help Your shepherds bring back and care for the wandering sheep. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
