Prayers in Thanks for the One Sent As Our Light

Let us pray in thanks and praise for the One sent as our light. Heavenly Father, You sent Your Son to vanquish the darkness which blinds our soul. We pray every ear may hear and every heart might receive all the blessings which He reveals to the world. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the One You sent as the light unto the world.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the One You sent to bring truth and justice to the door of our souls.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks and praise for the One You sent in sacrifice for us so that we may receive forgiveness of our iniquities.

Dear Lord, we pray that You help every heart understand the great power and blessings of Your peace.

Dear Lord, we pray that we may receive the blessings of the Holy Spirit so that we might comprehend the blessings and wisdom of Your Word.

Dear Lord, we pray that You open the hearts of our leaders so they may receive the wisdom and courage to do what is right and just in care for the children of Your creation.

Dear Lord, we pray that You will open our eyes to the blessings of Your Word.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we are brought to the warmth of His light. Heavenly Father, You sent Your Son so that we might hear the wisdom of Your Word and that we may see the power and blessings of Your love. We pray that You will guide us on our path so that we may live according to the blessings of all which Your Son and the Holy Spirit reveals to us. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
