To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Be Brought Closer to God

Let us pray for the embrace of God. Heavenly Father, we study all which surrounds us so we may learn of our environment, but so many ignore Your fingerprints upon all of creation. We pray You will help all to see the many ways You work within our lives and all the blessings of love which we may receive through Your grace and mercy. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to open the hearts of those who refuse to see the many ways You work within their lives.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in how we may share Your good news with all who surround us.

Dear Lord, help us to see that within our weakness, You are our strength.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the many revelations of Your love and mercy.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in sorrow for the ways we ignore the blessings of Your love.

Dear Lord, we beg Your forgiveness for the ways we take for granted the love You have for us.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help every heart to see the blessings You offer to the souls which turn to You.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will discover the blessings we may receive through the fullness of faith in God. Heavenly Father, You created us so we might enjoy the vast abundance of Your love. Though we are not worthy, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for Your great mercy. We pray You will remain forever within our hearts. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
