To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers Our Ears Are Opened to the Word of God

Let us pray that that our ears may be opened to His Word. Heavenly Father, some have sought to silence those who share Your Word of truth. We pray You will continue to send throughout the world those who will speak what You place within their hearts. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in sorrow and ask your forgiveness for the ways we have ignored you.

Dear Lord, we pray in thanks for those You send to share the blessings of Your Word.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for sending Your Son to gather us in.

Dear Lord, we thank You for all the blessings You send and the many ways You work within our lives.

Dear Lord, help us to hear those who speak Your Holy Truth.

Dear Lord, we pray You will not depart from our hearts because of our weaknesses.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help parents to teach their children the good news of the gospel.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will hear the blessings of the Word of God. Heavenly Father, without those who proclaim the good news of the gospel, many will not hear the blessings of Your love. We pray You will raise up many who will carry Your Holy Word to the world and that You will protect them from those who seek to silence the heralding of Your glory, grace, mercy, and love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
