To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Turn His Word Into Action

Let us pray God will guide us in how we may turn His Word into constructive action. Heavenly Father, You gave us Your commandments, not to oppress us, but to enable us to share the blessings of civility, compassion, charity, and love. We pray You will help every heart see the blessings of that to which You encourage us, the blessings of sharing in love of You and one another. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength through which we may share the blessings of Your Holy Word.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the blessings of Your commandments.

Dear Lord, help us to humbly share the blessings of civility, compassion, caring, and love.

Dear Lord, guide us in the ways we may become doers of Your Word so we are not mere spectators of the blessings which Your faithful share.

Dear Lord, help us to see how we may join together to care for, encourage, and lift up the less fortunate and souls in need.

Dear Lord, when we are tempted to speak, help us to do so, not in pride or judgment, but with the wisdom of compassion, humility, and encouragement.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in sorrow for the many ways we have failed You and one another when we boast of our faith, but fail to act according to Your Word.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will see the opportunities where we may act to help accomplish the will of God. Heavenly Father, it is easy for us to condemn and criticize others without looking to our own failings. We pray You will guide us to see how we may constructively engage one another so all may share the blessings of love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
