Prayers in Thanks for the Blessings of Baptism

Let us pray we may receive the full blessings of baptism. Heavenly Father, You sent Your only begotten Son to baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire. We pray You will fill us with the grace of Your wisdom and guide us to how we may walk and share the righteous path. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One You sent to lift us from darkness.

Dear Lord, we pray You will lead us in the ways we may help one another to walk the just path.

Dear Lord, we pray the Holy Spirit will reside within us and guide us in all truth.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One You sent to bring forth Your justice.

Dear Lord, we pray You will raise up for us leaders who will do what is right and just and who will lead the people in all which is right and just so that Your will may be done.

Dear Lord, we pray You will grant us the wisdom, courage, and strength by which we may help to fulfill all righteousness.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to share in all the blessings of Your love.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, the Holy Spirit will lead us in our purpose, our goals, and our decisions. Heavenly Father, You created each of us with gifts and talents so that we might fulfill a purpose. We pray You will guide us in our discernment to understand that purpose so we may help to accomplish Your will. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
