To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers In Thanks for the Light Sent to Us

Let us pray in thanks for the Light sent unto us. Heavenly Father, You set a star in the sky to lead the magi so they might find and worship Your Holy Son. We pray You will provide a light by which to guide our hearts so we may also come to the Sacred Heart of Your only begotten Son. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the Light You sent to lead all souls.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help every heart see and follow the Light You have sent to the world.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the good shepherds You send to proclaim Your holy truth.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enable every heart so they may help accomplish Your will and share Your love.

Dear Lord, we pray You will protect us from those who endeavor to lure us to the darkness.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in the use of the gifts and talents You placed within us and our stewardship so that Your will may be done.

Dear Lord, we pray You will enlighten every heart so we may better work together to help accomplish Your will.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall see and follow the Light of the Lord. Heavenly Father, You are the source of all wisdom and love. You shed upon us the warmth of Your love and lead us with the Light of the Gospel. We pray Your Word is revealed to every heart so all may come to You and share in Your eternal blessings. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
