To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Hear the Voice of the Shepherd

Let us pray that we may hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. Heavenly Father, there are many voices which call, but only Yours is the one of perfect wisdom and truth. We pray You will lead us so all may share in the blessings which You offer. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in sorrow for what we fail to learn from what You teach.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the One You sent to lead us to Your ways.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in the ways we may grow and learn from the blessings of Your holy Word.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the love You pour out for the children of Your creation.

Dear Lord, we pray You will shepherd us in how we may turn away from the wisdom of our own estimation so we may follow Your wisdom which is perfect and true.

Dear Lord, we pray You will protect us from the wiles of the wolf waiting in the darkness.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the love You speak through which our hearts may be guided.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we shall listen for the voice of our Shepherd, the voice of wisdom and truth. Heavenly Father, You are the creator of all which is good and the One who speaks with perfect love. We give thanks for all which You teach. We pray every heart may hear the blessings of Your love and may respond to Your call. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
