To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Receive the Food of Eternal Life

Let us pray that we may receive the fullness of the Lord. Heavenly Father, You sent us the Word made flesh so that as we receive Him, we may receive the wisdom of Your Holy Word and our soul may be nourished with the food of eternal life. We pray all may receive and live according to the good news of the Lord. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us to the table of wisdom.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us share with one another the blessings which comes from the wisdom You reveal through Your Holy Word.

Dear Lord, we ask that You send Your Holy Spirit upon us so we may learn the truth of Your Word.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for the Advocate You send to remind us of all which was brought to us through the Word made flesh.

Dear Lord, we thank You for all the ways You seek to nourish us; mind, body, and soul.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise that You invite us to Your table.

Dear Lord, we offer up to you bread and wine so You may return it to us as the body and blood of Your only begotten Son; the food of eternal life.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will receive our Savior and live according to what is right and just within His eyes. Heavenly Father, we too often approach the problems of the world without seeking Your guidance. We believe that through our knowledge we an solve all problems, yet we fail. We pray You will help us to see through the eyes of Your wisdom so what we do is truly right and just. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
