To all who see these words, may the peace of God be with you;

Prayers We May Hear the Lone Voice in the Wilderness

Let us pray we may hear the voice of love which calls to us. Heavenly Father, we struggle to comprehend how we may vanquish the evil which threatens the world. We overlook the ability You created within us by which we may prevail over the darkness; the ability to share the blessings of love. We pray You will guide every soul to see the power You placed within our hands by which we may help fulfill Your greatest of commandments; the commandments of love. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Dear Lord, help us to set aside the temptations which lead us only to dark afflictions of the soul.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help us to see how we may put on the garments of justice and love.

Dear Lord, we pray You will guide us in our works so that what comes from our efforts accomplishes Your will.

Dear Lord, we pray You will help the faithful come together as a shining light which will extinguish the darkness of evil.

Dear Lord, we pray the world may clearly hear the message of the blessings of repentance.

Dear Lord, we lift up our hearts in thanks and praise for Your mercy and forgiveness.

Dear Lord, we pray every ear may hear the voice in the wilderness calling us to You.

For these and the prayers in the hearts of all the faithful, we pray in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Let us pray that as we travel our daily journey, we will see the path to which God calls us. Heavenly Father, You created the herald who cries out from the wilderness to make straight the paths for the One who leads us to salvation. We are blessed that You created within each of us talents by which we may help to accomplish Your will. We pray You will guide us in the purpose to which we may put those talents so Your will may be done. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
